Meet Gemma

Gemma Cribb is the leader of the Equilibrium Psychology team. She created Equilibrium Psychology in 2007 because she wanted to work with and be inspired by clients and colleagues who were eager to grow, overcome their stuck points, challenge and continuously improve themselves.

Since then, the Equilibrium Psychology team has grown to be one of the largest and most highly regarded teams of Clinical Psychologists in Sydney. We love to learn from each other, have fun together, and share the wide range of expertise we have with our clients and our community. We also make sure to practice the “balance for life” that we preach!

We focus on offering practical and effective solutions in our 1:1 therapy, EAP and couple sessions. We also offer fun and practical workshops and corporate seminars and have a range of downloadable therapy tools to help you at home!

Personally, I find my balance through yoga, meditation, the gym, audiobooks, time with friends and sitting doing nothing with my cat Mr Max. I love to learn and call myself a ‘workshop-a-holic’ because I’m always signing up to learn about some new area of psychology.

In the media

Gemma caught the writing bug in 2018 with the publication of her first book “Doing Single Well: A guide to living, loving and dating without compromise.” Her second book, co-authored with James Findlay “Great Sexpectations: Change your perspective and have the sex you really want” is due out in 2020. Gemma loves to write articles for the press and gives regular interviews on the radio and TV. After countless workshops and 14 years in practice Gemma can write on most psych-related issues but has a particular interest in sex and relationships. Have a read of the below articles that Gemma has written or been interviewed for.
